Course Highlights

This Arnold Palmer designed course has lots of water, sand, interesting holes, challenging but fair decisions, and numerous other highlights.  Although we visited at the tail end of peak season (Oct - Apr/May), we could tell conditions are generally outstanding in all areas when in-season.  Out of season, conditions should still be very good but not as green.  Very large and impressive clubhouse has a top-notch restaurant on the top floor.  Carts were premium design with included coolers along with premium range and practice facilities.  Excellent service everywhere.  Fun fact: This course hosts US Open qualifying tournaments.

Condition*

9.3

Greens, fairways, tee boxes, and hazards were all in excellent shape.  A very well maintained course with the understanding off-season will be less green similar to most desert courses.

Playability

9.4

Varied hole designs had lots of interesting features, water, sand, and elevation changes which made this course fun to play.  Green undulations were mild while holes had great visibility, lots of tee options, and no surrounding housing.

Visual Impact

9.4

Zero housing, big mountain views, elevation changes, and highly maintained grass all contributed to our very high visual score.  There is also lots of room and the property feels very big.
