Course Highlights

Updated Sep 2024.  It is obvious that The Meadows has a large budget for maintenance!  Everything, from tee boxes and greens to landscaping, is maintained at a very high level.  This course also has a plethora of water, sand, and prairie features that make for a good variety and overall visual appeal.  Good balance and sand traps that certainly come into play.  Full length range included in greens fee.  Nice short game area.  Premium golf carts with coolers, ball and club washer, and GPS.  Full menu and bar at next-door casino.

Condition*

9.3

As noted in the highlights, virtually every aspect of this course is in excellent condition including even the flowers and cart paths.  Greens have a lot of play but roll really pure.

Playability

8.6

Excellent risk/reward and good fairway layouts partially offset by tightness of space between a few holes and conservative level of undulation on most greens.  Overall still very good playability.

Visual Impact

9.0

Great visual appeal of water, traps, and overall polish of tees, fairways, and greens.  This is somewhat countered by all the buildings and casino around the perimeter but still excellent in total.
